Our Story

Sahara Outdoors started at our own hunting camp in northern Mississippi. With a large property to cover, trail cameras weren't optional — they were how we kept eyes on the land when we couldn't be there ourselves. But northern Mississippi doesn't make it easy: heavy rain, snow, ice, and constant wildlife activity meant our cameras were dealing with false triggers, weather damage, and gaps in coverage right when we needed them most. We weren't just hunting — we were relying on those cameras for property security and wildlife monitoring, and off-the-shelf solutions weren't cutting it. So we built our own cover to solve the problem. It worked well enough that what started as a fix for our own camp became Sahara Outdoors.

What Makes It Different

• Custom-formulated thermal plastic. Our covers are made from a UV-resistant plastic engineered specifically for long-term outdoor exposure — not a generic material repurposed for the job.
• True custom fit. Every cover is fitted to the exact make and model of your camera, down to a precision antenna cutout with a rubber seal to keep the antenna hole protected.
• Made in the USA, start to finish. The plastic itself is manufactured domestically — nothing in our covers is imported.
• Veteran-owned. Sahara Outdoors is owned and operated by a Navy veteran.
